Through the development of LED, people can now adjust the color, brightness, etc. of light more delicately than before. In addition, the studies connecting the people’s mood and the colors of light has come out. However, for the novice users who do not have experience of color-light adjusting, it is not easy. The aim of this study is to create a mood-expressing tangible lighting for novice users in personal environments. In this thesis, I introduce LightPalette: a peripheral polygonal lighting designed through machined acrylic and walnut material which reflects color senses of users’ photos.
